Dean Taylor today
Dean Taylor with Pierce Brosnan
Dean Taylor as James Bond
Dean Taylor as Ali G
Dean Taylor is an incredibly gifted impersonator, actor and improviser with over 20 years experience in the show biz world. So much so, he often 'updates' the script as he acts and is well known for his hilarious ad-lib questions and throw away comments in a live show or event, which are done to the point of perfection.
A great deal of Dean's work is for private parties ('gigs') as well as performing in events, sales film clips, training DVDs and webcasts for the corporate business world. In these environments, Dean still has the habit of not keeping to a script which often results in film retakes. Not because Andronicos is an overly fussy writer/director, but because their film crew and clients (who are either watching or taking part) are usually in hysterical laughter.
Dean and Andronicos 'Zed' have now collaborated together to create ADZ: Aardvark, Dean and Zed. Their combined expertise and extensive multitalented skill set can transform your corporate marketing, advertising or training message into something amazing, without it costing an arm and a leg. But let's ignore sales clichés for now......
Dean Taylor's many faces tribute characters include:
- Ali G Highly Recommended!
- Austin Powers
- Ozzy Ozbourne
- All the personalities in Little Britain
- Every Harry Enfield character
Dean's speciality characters include:
- Gordon: God's Gift to Women......also known as G32W for short
- Gilbert Gadget
- Nasty Nick
- Bongy
- Brian the Big Banker
- Fat Derek and his gimp Recommended!
- Mohammed Cohen
Fat Derek is an effeminate gangster who for many years ran the Chalfont St Peter and Beaconsfield underworld in Buckinghamshire. He is the nearest human being you can get that acts like Jabba the Hutt, that slimy pervert gangster in Star Wars. Fat Derek has 'Gimp' chained to him at all times. Gimp is a rather nerdy but sad character with an attitude problem, who uses the opportunity of being let out of his small prison box for special events, to nervously talk to as many people for as much as possible. Unfortunately he can't stop talking shite.
Mohammed Cohen is a man confused with his religious identity. Weekends are busy for 'Mo', a spiritual giant of a man, who's motto is 'one of them has gotta be right': Friday is Mosque day, Saturday he frequents the Synagogue, Sunday morning it's C+E, afternoon he's a bible thumping Born Again Christian and in the evening he's off to Mass. The trouble is, he's a fumbling idiot and gets confused which religious group he's visiting. Kindly note, due to a number of complaints, our in-house ethics advisor has asked for this character to be withdrawn for the time being. Frankly, we should have listened to her in the first place. We sacked the creative designer who dreamed up the Mohammed Cohen character. The final straw was when he composed this song. Listen to the tasteless song now?
